Rose Richard is the owner and entrepreneur behind Bombay Uniforms.
In October of 1975, Rose came to the United States from Kerala, India to join her husband, who was already in America studying for the ministry, and to search for better opportunities for the family they planned to raise.
Rose was able to work with several small companies and ultimately acquired a job at Lucent Technologies until the plant was closed in 2000. After helping relatives at Bombay Uniforms for several years, she became the proud owner of the shop and revitalized the business by investing in inventory that reflected the latest styles and fashions In scrubs. She strives to sell her products at least 20% below all other scrubs shops in the Oklahoma City metro.
A favorite past time for Rose is baking foods from her native India and selling them to friends and neighbors to provide needs such as blankets, clothes, and money to the people of India, Mexico and Africa. She donates generously of her time and efforts to help in any way possible.
Rose and her husband, Pastor James Richard, pastor of Grace Pentecostal Church in Yukon, OK, have 4 grown children.
